Christmas tree and birthday all in the same week--Yippee!

Andrew has loved the Christmas tree so far. He has done very well with not touching the presents or the tree. I had to include his crabby picture, it made me laugh. I guess he didn't want his picture taken that time--that was unusual.
Andrew's first birthday was a hit. He had tons of fun opening presents, playing with balloons, eating cake, and tons more. I am sure he had no clue what was going on, but he soaked up all the extra attention! His great grandparents sent him some money with his card. It was entertaining watching him play with it. In his mind it was just another thing to put in his mouth. He had several friends from church over along with a few neighbors. Aunt Lana and Aunt Lynetta were able to come too, Andrew always loves seeing his family. We played a few rounds of Catch Phrase before everyone left.
Andrew had his own little octopus cake (which he made a mess of) and an ocean cake for everyone else. His octopus lasted about 3 minutes before it was picked up and dumped on the floor. He managed to save 4 of the arms and gobbled them all up rather quickly. We wish you all could have been here to enjoy this special occasion. It is hard to believe that it has been a year, but we praise the Lord for His strength and healthiness of our "little" one-year old.

hi evrywon! i am won now. i got lots of toyes for my birthdae. it was fun. mommy made me a ornge cake. i throo it on the flore. i ate lots more. it was fun making a mess. i miss yoo all. i luv you 2 .
