The Fun in our House

Thanksgiving was indeed thrilling. We had much of Brian's family over, and we had lots of food. Grandma Swaffer made all the kids Indian bands. It was quite entertaining to say the least. Andrew did pretty well with it being on his head. Food is still Andrew's favorite thing. He has learned to love Fruit Loops. He doesn't get them often, but when he does look out. He tries to put whole handfuls into his mouth, but he ends up getting them all sticky and stuck all over him.
"Auntie" Elizabeth sent his birthday present last week. I was determined to save it until his birthday. Little did I know that our little man was watching mommy put away a very festive looking box. His curiosity got the best of him. I found him in my bedroom closet yesterday afternoon among a large pile of wrapping paper. He thought it was very funny, and mommy did too. So, we opened the box and let him see one thing. Wow, she sent him a treasure box full of fun things. It is hard to believe that he is almost a year old. Here's the best news yet--Andrew took his first steps on Sunday night after church. It wasn't just one or two, but four steps. I think he just wants to start running.
